    Obama to NOLA on Monday

Isaac came ashore Monday night. Mitt has been 'tied up' in Tampa all week and now decides to swing by NOLA THEN the President decides he should go there too...REALLY? Why the urgency? Where's the outrage Bush endured?

The history here is Katrina. That wasa very badly handled. The guy in charge was a Bush-Buddy who was more concerned with his TV appearance than actually using FEMMA resources to accomplish anything.

So, the powers that be caught heavy flak and rightfully so.

To be fair here, the current response seems to have been quite orderly by comparison. Obusha may be a dork, but he's not automatically wrong 100% of the time. There's no way to compare the Issac response to the Katrina response.

The Bush administration experienced outrage because of an absolutely abysmal federal response to a major disaster. FEMA was absolutely unprepared and disorganized despite having plenty of warning to get setup.

Bush's physical presence, or lack thereof, had absolutely nothing to do with it. Nobody really gives a crap whether the President is physically located in the disaster area. It's not his job to start picking up debris and rebuilding houses.

This lack of appropriate federal response is not present with Isaac. (nor is the damage nearly as bad). Hence the lack of outrage. The appropriate agencies are handling their tasks.

Okay...guess a Republican governor's assessment is too partisan to garner any attention...

What? No credit to an utterly corrupt and incompetent mayor and governor at the time of Katrina? Or do they get a pass because they were Democrats, and nobody expected even minimum competence from them?

How many times must it be said that Governor Blanco was responsible for her state and activating the National Guard?

But never mind. Bush was held to an entirely different standard even on golfing.

Of course not ... it's not the Dim way. Only the Republicans do anything wrong.

Jindal is proof that any Republican governor is better than any Democrat governor, even if he's not a real American.

Here's the real kicker. The Dims claim the Kenyan is a leader. The Kenyan is constantly reminding us that he is the Commander-in-Chief. If all the above is true, why didn't the Kenyan go to NO during the Republican convention? Why is the "leader" following Romney.

Really easy for me to see who the leader is. Yet again, the Kenyan 'leads from behind'.

    Talk about selective memory.

Look. There's no nice way of saying this. Nobody cares about the perceptions of a birther, because such people are clearly out of touch with reality. Stop trying to derail threads with that ridiculous "Kenyan" mantra.
