With Isaac strengthening and bearing down on the Gulf, this might get real ugly in a hurry.

Guess the Haliburton Weather Machine is working overtime just in time for the election! :lamo

Still have no idea why Americans are complaining about, gas is really cheap in the U.S..

It's been hiked for years - by now those who are ****ed are ****ed and those who cn handle it can handle it  There's no pretending that anyone cares and can or will do anything.

For the most part, this country has not made mass transportation lines. Everyone here is a unique and beautiful flower that needs a car.

It is hard to imagine this country with mass transportation.

and yet, any suggestion that we might be better off planning for a post-oil transportation economy is met with fierce resistance.

this is the reality of oil. this is what is going to happen again and again until there isn't enough of it. we can plan and innovate now, or we can suffer more later. it's our choice.

Have you ever been to Canada we have no public transport whatsoever. Our gas is about 5.20$/gallon here and were fine so Americans can shutup about 4$/gallon.

You have 1/10 the population of America living, with 3/4 of that population living within 90 miles of the US border. It is 100% different then America and to compare the two situations is irresponsible.

We have to drive everywhere aswell, transport goods from coast to coast to coast.

Wrong, your gas is $3.50 a gallon, your tax is $1.70 a gallon vs our 50 cents. See the difference? :)
