Next to the birth of my children, that day in July of 1969 and November 22, 1963 remain the most memorable days of my life. RIP.

    Indeed they did.

Amazing group of people, those astronauts are.

I want to make a point here that no matter what you look like, where you come from, how you worship, who you love, how you identify, and yeah, how you run, that if you have good public policy ideas, if you are well qualified for office, bring those ideas to the table, because this is your America, too. What is really sad is that 43 years after his moon landing we have no manned space program to speak of. It seems unlikely that any of us will ever see anything like what he did again in our lifetimes.

Neil Armstrong has always been, and always will be, a personal hero of mine. His loss is the world's loss. He will be mourned and he will be missed.

Absolutely. To think with the He-3 on the moon and the energy potential in it's technology once we learn how to tap it Neil Armstrong would have a huge part in that. It's amazing to think how brave all those men were, there are thousands of things that can go wrong during a space mission and any one of them is fatal, even with those odds the astronauts went up.

My hero. I have a vague memory of the Moon landing as one of my earliest memories of anything other than my parents.

I'm sorry to hear that this man, who was an embodiment of a great historical achievement, has passed on ... RIP Neil.
