Rosie O'Donnell, 50, suffers heart attack

That was the point of the thread....I guess I didnt make that clear enough

You did make that clear and that issue was addressed appropriately, but, this is a pretty vocal crew, expressions of humor interlaced with some good thoughts. Anything else was not worth reading, although she has made herself a target many times over with her positions and rhetoric.

Perfectly true.

She needs to lose weight fast and start light exercize...before its too late ...50 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to young

Rosie O'Donnell is saying it's a "miracle" that she didn't die.In her blog, with a post titled "my heart attack," the star, 50, says it happened last week after she helped a woman who was stuck in her car.

I think spoon laws should be enacted.

To have no sympathy is one thing. To go out of your way to publicly comment on how you have no sympathy however...

Whatever it takes for you to reconcile your disdain. WWJD?

I never would have commented if the OP hadn't posted this on the forums. I consider it a waste of space. That is enough to comment on it publicly for me.

Besides, everyone is entitled to voice their opinion. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean jack. And you reading more into a persons comment than what is actually there shows a very decided lack of judgement on your part.

The fact that you feel the need to make mutiple posts clarifying yourself in a thread you had already deemed "a waste of space" is telling. I don't think blaming me and my "judgement", as you put it, is what's drawing you back to this thread time and again.

I don't think you are a bad guy. I just think you probably had a knee-jerk response that came off harsh and would rather look tough standing your ground rather than admit that you didn't mean to be mean. Although your post wasn't near as harsh as many others in here.

Actually the reason I keep coming to this thread is because I like to respond to posts that are directed at me...even if its obliquely.

I'm surprised anyone talks about her anymore. Ellen DeGeneres replaced her as America's lesbian sweetheart years ago.

It would probably help if she lost 100 lbs.

It's sad that people wished she died based solely on her politics. What's even worse is that if she were a prominent conservative the roles would be reversed.
I believe we saw a taste of that a few weeks ago when an exec of ChickFilA...not even the guy everyone 'hated' died.

I dont hate Rosie. I think her ideas are goofy and she is a bitter, angry, pissed off, unhappy soul. But I dont hate her.

And in addition to getting in shape, she really needs to see a trichologist...

(Lighten up, Francis...like people arent going to make jokes when Limbaugh finally pops the big pill)

Thats cause Ellen is actually a decent person and doesnt come off as a scorching angry beeeyotch.

Still sad. Two wrongs don't make a right, and yes, those who got a rise out of that guys death were also wrong.

In all fairness, you also weren't saying "too bad she didn't die." You want to criticize her politics, fine. I just think it's wrong to wish death upon her the way some other posters did.

Oh, jokes will be made. Probably something along the lines of "Oxycontin and Big Macs are a dangerous combination."

See? You are getting a head start! ;)

Nah...I dont wish ill on any of them.

Wow... I had no idea a guy died during all that flap. I kind of tuned out of it after a bit. Still like their chicken and sweet tea.

Hehehe... I actually hate this woman.. Couldn't care one iota..

Hah - same here.

I have ZERO compassion for those who have ZERO concern for their own health - when their health fails like they KNOW it will.

I know the type - I'm related to several people just like that. . . they don't care how their diet, lifestyle and overall mode in life will affect their health - so I won't waste time caring, either.

I wish her well and hope she takes care of herself from here on out for the sake of her kids.

Well there's that too.. :)

I don't care what you're opinion is. Wishing death on another person is the most classless thing there is. Somebody should save this thread for the next time someone has a post about "Conservatives are just more classy that Libbos." Because you just proved them WRONG.

That **** goes both ways... during the Iraq War there was this group of ladies that wore black outfits in our small town and used signs and such protesting the war, Bush, WMD's etc. I was standing there with my daughters and some guys drove by with an big American flag on a pole in the bed of their truck and they were saying God Bless America! and other benign stuff. Some of the ladies started swearing loudly and yelling at them. I was shocked and told them to watch their mouths around children and in public and that they were a disgrace to protests. They started yelling at me until they say my girls.

Goes both ways...

I'm seriously biting my tongue, refraining from all the snarky comments I could make about her weight and such, I despise her. But really, I wish this on no one. And fifty is not young for a heart attack. In fact, in our fifties is when we generally discover heart problems/weaknesses.

Looking at her, she's obviously traveled some hard roads with her body in her lifetime, it's starting to show.

I don't really like her in the least, but I don't want to see her dead or hurt. I hope she has a full and speedy recovery.

She always seemed like a hateful bitch to me... but even hateful Anti-American bitches that have made millions in our country deserve freedom of speech.

You cant hate her you dont know her....you dislike her politics...I dont like most of her politics either...however, my father always told me if you wish bad on others...it will always get around to coming back on you.....I dont hate anyone...until they MAKE ME hate them...then im quite capable of it
