Geez, you'd think you'd learn something around here once in a while.
Just admit that you had no clue what you were talking about, and had to look up the meaning of the word profanity. A little honesty would be a nice step. Until that unlikely day, don't expect any more responses from me, you have proven yourself incapable of having a rational discussion about any topic, and the constant bigotry containing in your idiotic posts is sickening.

Promise? That would vastly increase the intelligence of the people I have to respond to!
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

But that doesn't matter, and this is what is so wrong with these people defending he disobedient child. Rules are indeed rules. She broke the rule, and was offered a chance to apologize to make amends. She stubbornly refused, and expects to just have the consequences of her actions simply evaporate without even so much as an apology.

The fact that people cannot admit that what she did was against school rules is ridiculous and is obviously based on groupthink, which is what I was referring to earlier. It is a childish desire to spite authority figures, so they side with this disobedient child to live out their own fantasies of standing up to authority over arbitrary rules. Why can't a student say hell? Hell, I don't know. But it is well known that students cursing is against the rules in all schools nationwide. Rules are indeed rules, and what the absurd adults defending the disobedienT child are doing is saying to kids, "see, you can do whatever you want, refuse to apologize, and here are no consequences.". I realize that liberals hate consequences, but guess what? In real life actions have consequences.
Guy, you have a thing about obedience. I don't know the number of times you've referred to obedience in this thread, but you've said it often. You seem obsessed with obedience. Not healthy, bro.

Earlier you were "extremely ashamed" and now you're "extremely dismayed". It's obvious, through your own admission, that your emotions are running away with you on this non-issue.

I don't think you drink as much as you should. That may be because you seem to be the kind of person who would flat **** up a good time and thus no one will drink with you. That's understandable unless you run with a BDSM crowd.

Perhaps you should consider Fukitol. Or you rather than blame damn near everyone in the thread for participating in group think, you might want to consider that it isn't everyone else. Maybe it's you.

So, in summation, it seems that the high level of immaturity and emotional argmentation contained in the posts of those who support this disobedient child is precisely what you would expect from an attempt to defend petulant behavior like this. It is clear that those poster who demonstrate common sense and maturity see clearly the the right thing for this disobedient child to do is apologize.

As only one poster has maintained the viewpoint stated by Guy Incognito the typo in the second sentence is rather humorous.

    Can you say ?
“And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in shewing that religion & Govt will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together.”

Guy is just @#$@$ing with folks.
I've moved on to a better forum (scienceforums.net). Facts matter, and I don't have the time or energy for putting up with the pretense that they don't. PM me if you'd like me to get in touch with you when I'm done developing my own forum system, likely towards the end of 2013.

Remove the last two words and you've got it right.

Nobody is laughing. It is hard not to sink into utter despair when ostensibly mature adults go to such absurd lengths to defend and make excuses for a child's petulant disobedience. The lack of basic morals is disgusting.
