RIP Tony Scott

He was a maker of mediocre action fliks. His exit scene seems appropriate to the genre. RIP

Not that I feel anybody should have a death more "special" or "meaningful" than anybody else (death is tragic regardless of how well known you are), but don't take it out on the poor guy. Just because he's famous it doesn't give reason to spite him after death. Especially a suicide.

but that was kind of clever

Most suicide is from depression, very sad.

Possibly true, however, having watched someone die of cancer and knowing the pain involved ... I would like the opportunity to check out. Jumping from a bridge is not quick in my book. And being in a bed with more tubes in you than an automobile air conditioning system also rules out that option.

Jack K. had it right. And I do not think you have to be crazy to check out.

An old man's opinion.

I agree with the cancer thing, I already have the beautiful spot on my land picked out where I will pull the trigger if that time ever comes. Does that seem morbid?

Not at all. Eating a bullet is what I would do as well.

I have a question though ... will the gubmet actually allow you to be planted there or is there some current or future zoning regulation that will stop it?

I have thought of that too, Spread my ashes under the weeping willow I planted by the pond in out front yard.
