The anti-Chick-fil-A protest - Starbucks [W:39]

This sounds like a "hint" to businesses, stay out of politics. What you hear and read in the news may not be the the whole story or represent the folks in the "hinterlands" real thoughts.

Personally, I would agree. And the thing that sparked all of this was the personal opinion of a CEO, not a Corporate position. But a bunch of lobyists turned around and forced it into something that was never intended, and it largely backfired. And after what happened in Washington DC the other day, I have to wonder at the motivations at people who take protests like that so far.

I may not have stated my point well. I think anyone can spend their money anyway the want and they can give it to whomever they want. It ain't my money.
