Honestly, I wish I could get crosses removed from churches generally. Why should I be driving down the street, minding my own business, and be forced to suffer the stress of looking at them?

As much of a dick reason why the Church put them up, it is still on their property so just ignore it and let them do their childish behavior.

It astonishes me, because it is always the same people who get upset about the "Happy Holidasy" stuff and argue that atheists are encroaching on their lives. Hypocrisy at its finest.

If you're being honest, then you know exactly why. The First Amendment.

If you're being sarcastic, I'm clearly not saying they aren't allowed to put what they want on their property, within the laws of city.

Either way, was that comment really necessary? What does it contribute to the discussion?

I hope the muslims who have to put up with these garbage Christians can just ignore them and go about their lives.

Meanwhile, us real Christians will shame and embarrass these dick-Christians.

Well you may not like to look at fire hydrants, trees and blue cars either, that doesn't mean that anyone is going to remove them.

As much as I hate crosses, and I'm not joking about that, I'm offended by the notion that a church ought not place crosses on its property to avoid offending either me or passing Muslims.

Except no one is saying that.

What is it with so many of our resident right-wingers and this knee-jerk reaction? I, as someone to the left of Ghengis Kahn, disagree with something, and the immediate assumption by you is that I want jack-booted government thugs to kick the front door down and remove the offending item.

What in God's name are you basing this idea on? Name one post on this thread that suggested that a law should be passed or government action initiated to stop the church from doing this. Name one, please. Just one.

All we are saying is that the the douchebags of this stupid church are clearly trying to rile up their Muslim neighbors and that they suck for doing that.

Where do you come off claiming that a church which places crosses on its own property is "clearly trying to rile up their Muslim neighbors"? What is it about liberalism which brings you to a judgment like that?
