Didn't I predict that the Kiss-In would be a flop? Why, yes, I did predict that.

Oh well. People got their points across. I suspect Chick-fil-A directors will keep their heads down from now on and have learned that combustible politics and business don't mix. And perhaps the LGBT activists have learned that free speech means that others have the right to say things that they don't like and support causes that they don't like.
I think the group of people that need to learn to keep their mouth shut are the mayors that made this an issue to begin with. This would have never been an issue had they not waded into it.

People can 'kiss in' at their own house if they feel the need.
Well said. I don't want to go a fast food joint and watch ANYONE make out, straight or gay.

Yes, indeed, the ones who abused their power and tried to take the right of freedom of speech away from a business owner and keep them from establishing a business in their city because of a political stance.

It was just one mayor, wasn't it, or was there another?

It was Rahm Emmanuel, the mayor of Boston, and the mayor of San Fran (don't know their names). There may have been more, but those were the notable ones I remember.

The kiss in had a somewhat decent turn at the one up the road from here. The two guys I know at Chick Fil A were given the day off so they could participate and Chick Fil A gave free chicken breakfast burritos to the ones who were out there. Most of them took the burrito.

Problem is they hurt their own cause! Rather than boycotting the chain and taking the higher ground they choose to kiss in the middle of a fast food shop? Im all for gay rights but I dont want to watch people kissing straight or gay while im eating my lunch. End of the day if you want to be taken seriously dont hold a kiss in, the guy that owns these chains has a right to his opinions and you as a consumer have a right to buy his product.

Color me appalled and disgusted by this stereotypical characterization of "dykes," you buffoon.

Before you go around calling people buffoons perhaps you should actually look at what a word means .

    What is a Diesel Dyke?
Definition: A Diesel Dyke is a very butch or manly lesbian, especially one who is very aggressive.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Cicero Marcus Tullius
