So the trend down in July is seasonal? Why, it is the height of summer vacations and hiring.
See now, here you are ignoring all basic US econ knowledge, it is common knowledge that:
"July is typically a much weaker month for payroll employment than June, because of seasonal factors."

You want badly to believe the liberal rhetoric when the facts just make you look foolish. Did unemployment rise in July?
Yes...I look foolish, not like you wondering if we have higher levels of UE now than at the beginning of a very bad recession.

    Yes.

Unemployment just went up. Don't even bother with his nonsensical snake oil.

Liberal economic policies do not work. 53% of college graduates aged 25 and younger are unemployed and underemployed.

That is not what I was responding to, FFS you just continue to not read the context of the comments. I was not talking about the Olympics, but you might as well have twisted it into that, it would make as much sense.

Gallup shows the numbers each year and most days if you open the whole file, and the numbers from 2 years ago to today are slightly better.

Do you really believe that things are improving? Just set aside your Obama idol worship for a second. Do you REALLY believe the economy is improving?

Already refuted, diversion noted. You didn't work or probably weren't old enough to know what went on in 81-82 so you buy the liberal spin

In July 1984 Reagan economy created over 320,000 jobs after a recession worse than this one.

Do we have higher unemployment in July vs. June? Liberalism makes you look foolish because results are never what you want to believe

What Gallup shows is that this economy is still not doing well and that is confirmed by the keeper of the actual data, bls.gov. We are three years after the end of the recession and this is the worst recovery in history all due to very poor leadership and economic policy. Unemployment is up vs. June, labor force is down vs. June, discouraged workers is up vs. June, and GDP growth is worse than last year. That isn't an improving economy
