Here let me help. My post

Jan 7 2010 we were at 63.3% FT (fulltime) and 19.4% UE (underemployed) 19.4%.
Jan 7 2011 we were at 63.7% FT and 19.2% UE
Jan 7 2012 we were at 65.2% FT and 18.3% UE
Aug 1 2012 we were at 66.6% FT and 17.1% UE

Those numbers show improvement and I think are more of an indication of job market growth and job quality.

MoneyWatch - Markets & Investing - CBS News

"Employers added 64,000 jobs in June, a third straight month of weak hiring. In the second quarter, the economy created an average of 75,000 jobs a month, one-third of the 226,000 jobs a month created in the first quarter.

The recent growth rate is too low to significantly reduce unemployment. The economy needs to add upwards of 100,000 jobs a month simply to keep pace with the number of people entering the labor force. To make deeper inroads into the jobless rate, at least 250,000 jobs must be created each month.

I guess we will have to wait a couple of weeks for the "actual jobs created" revisions to come out to really know the facts.

That is not the question of the thread. Again you are quoting me but replying to something else. Focus please.

So you believe having 23 million unemployed/under employed at a cost of 5.4 trillion added to the debt is an improvement because Gallup says it is less than two years ago?

The topic of the thread is unemployment rises, is that true or false?

Billy, the OP made a comment, i responded, you took that response and went on your favorite tangents.
Are there more unemployed this month than last month, true or false?
July trends down as a seasonal event.
Are there more unemployed today than when the recession began, true or false?
Than when the recession began....in Dec 07? Uh....that is what happens with lagging indicators...like employment....after the worst recession since 29.
    Duh.

This is not that tough to understand.
So you believe raising taxes on the rich is going to increase consumer spending, create more jobs, and improve the GDP? That seems to me to be liberal logic and false.

The worst recession since 29? By whose standards and by what standards was this worse than 1981? How old were you then?

So the trend down in July is seasonal? Why, it is the height of summer vacations and hiring.

You want badly to believe the liberal rhetoric when the facts just make you look foolish. Did unemployment rise in July?

Don't blame any liberal for diverting from the Obama record. Keep running. Did unemployment increase in July?
