That cop can be glad it was not me helping him. I own a 357 four inch barrel and at 165 yards I would have had better success throwing my pistol at the bad guy. But thank you citizen for helping our protectors. I am proud of you.

Why? Hickok45 does it all day with damn near every pistol hitting that Gong @ 200 yards. Here's a 230 yard shot w/ a baby Glock (smaller, more recoil):

If you need to misrepresent your opponent's position, you don't really believe in yours, you have no integrity and as Tony Montana says, "Any man without his word is a cockroach."

What I have seen with reporters,
They don't know the difference between a pistol or rifle.

USA Today Neither, they said the Aurora shooter's glock was a 40mm...

    I mean THIS is a 40mm:

165 yards with revolver.... dayum. If true that's some mighty fine shooting.

I could HIT something at 165 yards I expect... but four for four under actual-shooting-incident stress? That's pretty amazing.

I've never shot a handgun at anything beyond 100 yards. I figured that was what rifles were for.

One big difference here. This guy is not in a fire fight. However, that guy shoots extremely well.

Hickok45 is retired law enforcement, and in any firefight i'd hate to be against someone as practiced as him.
