    Joker Copy Cat

Crofton, MD. Police take into custody a man who threatened his boss over being fired from his job. His coworkers reported he said, "I am the joker, I am going to load my guns and blow someone up." He was seen wearing a t-shirt saying, 'Guns don't kill people, I do'. He is currently undergoing mental evaluation in an Anne Arundel County hospital.

It would appear some not very stable folks are using a new buzz word to vent. I hope this Aurora shooting doesn't set off a wave of threats and possible shootings.

I don't think there is something in the water, more like something lacking in a few brains...

There will be more.....this guy was fired from the mail room.....that is a very hard thing to do, he must be a screw up of the first order and nutty too...

This news source stated the man said, "I am a joker. I'm gonna load my guns and blow everybody up," the man told his supervisor in a phone conversation earlier this week, officials said.

"Police said that when they took the man into custody, they found an "arsenal" of weapons inside his home. The Associated Press reports that a search of the suspect's home turned up more than 20 guns, including assault rifles and handguns, and more than 400 rounds of ammunition."

The man is now undergoing psychiatric evaluation.

A lot of criminals are stupid but I do not think it is wise releasing exact details in what led to the arrest of such individuals. Because the next pathetic loser who wants to shoot up a place may be smarter and won't make any threats or wear any t-shirts saying "guns don't kill people, I do". Its like cops telling the media that they were able to capture a bunch of people who have warrants by sending letters to them that telling them they won TVs and to meet them at a address to pick up their prizes. This is why I don't like those CIS shows, some smart criminal might want to use that **** as a guide of what not to do.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    James-
criminals are onething, yes they learn from theirs and others mistakes. I don't think that applies to the unstable, rage filled, literal 'gun' nuts. Not wearing a 'guns don't kill people- I do' if you are intent om armed mayhem is a no brainer. I don't think the next copy cat needed that put in the paper to tell him that was a bad idea.

That just leaves the threats he apparently delivered when he was fired. Leave that part out n the 'patriots' start rumors of Gubmint oppression of a fine and noble man. (It should also be a no brainer to not announce your intentions to kill 'em all if you do plan murdering someone)

When I worked at the Tacti-cool school some fellas wore over the top T-shirts, crap about blue helmets with bullet holes, kill 'em all, crosshairs on folks... I figured most were just strutting their macho at a place they figured it was 'cool' to do so...

But I sometimes wondered if I would be seeing any of them on TV someday.

(Fingers crossed) so far so good
