Another one who seems to be concerned is Nawaf Fares, Syrian ex-ambassador to Iraq,he was the most prominent politician to defect since the uprising against President Assad began. He has held senior positions in the ruling Baath Party and powerful security services, and served as governor in several provinces. He even said: "There is information, unconfirmed information, that chemical weapons have been used in Homs."

He manifested that Asadd would only be ousted by force "even if he will have to eradicate the entire Syrian people".

Of course that is his personal opinion but coming from such high level source, it's interesting.

There is more pressure on Asaad as "Major-General Adnan Sillu, the former head of Syria's chemical weapons programme, has reportedly defected. Sillu is said to have taken up a post as head of the joint military leadership of the FSA." I would not be surprised if Asaad uses the weapons as he seems to be losing his grip as pressure mounts.

I agree, and have already said I would not be surprised if he used chemical weapons. Based on what the international community did to Iraq for the same thing... nothing... he's really got nothing to fear.

I disagree. The situation is different this time around. Syria isn't on the US' aid list unlike Iraq when they used US supplied WMD. If Assad is to use his weapons on his people, it will be the worst thing ever. We want to be inside Syria. President Obama has already said that Syria can't go back to normal with Assad still in power. Regime change is on the agenda, which has been called for for years. Did you ever stop to think that the Arab Spring had Western fingers in it? Hmm...
