reminds me of an event about 1977....my night school extension class prof didn't show, so I am sitting in the hall of the local high school outside my wife's night class. And along comes 3 pretty teen girls, or 2 pretty and one very pretty. They were there for High School driver's ed, classroom phase was held in the evenings...
the very pretty one says to the others...I don't understand why I have to take history, geography, algebra, I don't know anything about them....
Her words sort of hung there, in the air....
she asked a question, answered it, didn't even realize it....
but she probably married well..

a thrill thing, wasn't there a gand of teen girls a few years back robbing stores? northeast or midwest? all from well to do families, IIRC...

I didn't say that. Don't distort what I say. I said that looks affords opportunities. That's absolutely true. It's easier for a good looking person to get hired, attract a mate, be liked etc. There are some professions only open to the attractive such as modeling. It doesn't mean they never have any problems.

It's absolutely 100 percent true. Let's see the attractive person and the ugly person apply for the same modeling job or the same acting job. See them apply for an ordinary job for which they're both equally qualified and see what happens. I'm surprised anyone even challenges this obvious truth.

The article also proves it's possible for an attractive person to make dumb mistakes.

It doesn't matter that much - I just think it's silly and isn't the 'real issue' at the center of this whole thing.
