It's not against discussing religion, it doesn't matter what he was doing, he'd still be violating the zoning laws.

    Try again.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

"Mass traffic" = 40 cars. So much for a legit message.

All the city would have to do is put up no parking signs orre stricted length or time of parking. A person's personal parking obligations for parking at their own property is having parking places for themselves on their own property, not reserving a public street for themselves. Not go berserk because the street doesn't have a reserved-for-them sign.

But what is happening is rather obvious in fact. If people are illegally parking, they ticket the car - not go arrest or ticket the person they are going to see. They COULD end a problem if there is one with parking signs. But is it certain instead they wanted to ticket and arrest him.

How many times has code enforcement come into YOUR house or apartment to check for code violations? I bet NEVER. I bet they didn't come an measure your doors and check out your sprinkler system and emergency exit signs that you don't have.

This was city hall deciding "we're going to get that religious kook" and then brainstormed over very theory and code they can even bizarrely apply to do so. That is exactly what happened because NOTHING of this is normal procedures towards anyone else.

SRLY, don't you think YOU should be ticketed every day if you don't have exit warning lights and signs and a sprinkler system in your home or apartment?

BTW, this is an example of what was wrong with Ron Paul's people will be free if we have local control. Local government is the most radical, control-freak, get-your-enemies and punish people who are out of norms of all levels of government. They they decide they want someone in jail or their house tore down they just do it. This has nothing to do with code violations.

I would not be surprised to find that a relative of the Code Enforcement Division lives on that street, and had friends who came over and could find parking on street parking that is supposed to be reserved for him. This is a who-do-you-know at City Hall case.

This wasn't a house, it was a church, and is on the city tax rolls as such.

It isn't about ZONING at all. It is about getting someone they don't like.

NO ONE has "sprinkler heads" in their house. That's all just BS.

Local government is also the easiest to control if you get off your ass and do something about it. If you sit around and wait till they throw you in jail for something, it's too late. Local governments are also the easiest to get away from.

Uh ohh....more information is coming out then. See I knew there was a reason we should gather data before flying off the handle, but that seems to be more fun so screw it.

Filed as a church, received church tax exemptions. Well if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck.

Yeah, but he's trying to run a BUSINESS out of his house and business regulations are different than housing regulations. That's why he's required to follow business zoning regulations.

    Come on, you're being ridiculous.

Yeah, damn wannabe martyrs that obstruct traffic like MLK Jr thoughtlessly did leading marches and having rallies. Did MLK Jr respect zoning laws or worry about how his actions might interfer with white people? NOOOOOOOO! Selfish, self grandious A-hole. That's all he was. Too bad there wasn't a responsible government then like the Phoenix city counsel and Phoenix Code Enforcement Department to get MLK Jr's house repeatedly raided for code violations and locked up for obstructing traffic. Guys like that really need to be in jail and then on probation to be monitored and controlled.

The actions against that guy in Phoenix are 100% BS.

They turned him away when he turned himself it. I think his 'jail time' then should start now.

The city counsel election hasn't happened yet.

The police, code enforcement and fire marshall mass raided his house twice writing him 7 more citations?

I hope the guy wins. Those petty good-ole-boy-rich-white-people controlling city hall need some ex gangbanger religious zealot giving them hell on city council.

The unanswered question is what relative of who at city hall lives on that block. That'd tell the whole true story.
