Scientists to unveil proof of ‘God particle’[W:74]

Re: Scientists to unveil proof of ‘God particle’

Well, I've got some meat she could have...

(I'm sorry, I couldn't resist that set up).

I doubt that would fatten her up.

Re: Scientists to unveil proof of ‘God particle’

Atomic, Molecular, and Optical physics. I'm published in PRA and my thesis counts as a "publication" too

Do you have a PhD? Just curious.

I doubt that would fatten her up.

There is plenty of meat to be had on the bone.

Are you T. Ikari, H. Ikari or A. Ikari? ;-)

I like quantum optics and atomic optics, or I did in undergraduate studies many years ago.

What makes you think that magic has anything to do with God?

I treat "magic" with the same academic seriousness I treat 'god'.

Was so about to make the same joke

*high five*...... on second thought I'd rather not.

I am sure one day you will get impress more than yourself, at least you hope.

No he is either Paul or Vince but either way he is fury.

Re: Scientists to unveil proof of ‘God particle’

Sure do.

....

I chuckled - I honestly did. There are a few things that are common knowledge on this forum, your PhD, Tasha's legs and me being black.

Ok, fantastic, Tetsuo! あなたの知り合いを作るためにニース! A few comments come to mind, if I can recall them:
  1. Is the foundation/cause of the hydrostatic and shear deformation potentials, the binding energy of the exciton and the semiconductor brittleness, and the change in potentials, varying with indium, is -7 and -1.7 eV, respectively?
  2. I think this means "the effect of strain on the electronic structures of the dilute nitride semiconductor thin film structure" is that it can withstand shear and maintain the large, lower energy excitons which exhibit momentum of energy within the fine electronic structure, without transferring charge. Am I close?
  3. What is the speed of virtual photons through the structure?
  4. Is the momentum of virtual photons a vector?
  5. It is interesting that excitons have a long lifetime, isn't it?

cheers,
rasta

ps. what would happen if Allah turns off beta decay?

Man oh man do I really miss those slavic legs...

le sigh...anyone know how to invite her back? she might dig this thread...

Re: Scientists to unveil proof of ‘God particle’

How many theoretical physicists specializing in General Relativity does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

An infinite number. As the physicists approach the light bulb the gravitas increases until time eventually stops and the bulb remains permanently unscrewed.

That was not my experience as an undergrad physicist. As I approached the hot tub light bulb, the strong force exceed expectations and overcame gravity AND the electroweak force, resulting is some screwing, baby. Sweet heaven! We're living the good life in a hot tub!

You mistake the dong force for the strong force.

That's what my GUT is called!

Two

One to hold the light bulb, a second one to rotate the universe.

:)

I am still interested in reading your thesis, Iki. Presently, I think very little of your intellect. Your thesis might very well change my opinion of you.

Yeah, those physics majors are infamous chick magnets. ;)

Your opinion of me has no bearing on reality. I am unconcerned with the opinions of my inferiors.

Re: Scientists to unveil proof of ‘God particle’

Someone or something had to light the wick to start the big bang.
