I don't believe this a ploy to "Get The Guns" to quote Michael Douglas in "The American President". However, my problem with Eric Holder is either he is witholding documnets that Congress is entitled to and he is wrong in doing so or he didn't know what was going on involving 100s of agents under his control in which case he is wholly unqualified to hold the position of AG.

Bull****. The argument is to release the documents. As you jump that forward to "blame" would seem to indicate that you know Holder is obfuscating the Constitutional process.

It was right to find Holder in contempt, because he was. It's also very very shady for Obama to try and exert executive privilege to try and cover up or stop an investigation of something like the Fast and Furious failure. The guy than ran on "transparency" is now trying to prevent investigation into a legitimate case.

Not jumping to any conclusions till we see all the documents, why is the "transparent" Obama administration being so secretive? Bust out all the documents. I'm not pretending to care about the truth in this matter, you are.

IMHO he was trying to prevent Holder from being charged with contempt, and offhand I don't see how the House was able to do it. Holder could not produce the documents because the president asserted executive privilege, which is above Holder's pay grade.

I'd be interested to hear a constitutional lawyer explain how the House was able to charge Holder with contempt for not providing documents that the president refused to release.

So it was bring your child to work day at the Capitol. It "boggles the mind" just how incredibly petty and out of touch the Cons really are.... children. Its hard to believe these yahoos get paid $165,200 per year when the quality of their work is more like $10 per week]

In spite of this silliness, it was still a good day at 1600 Pennsylvania.
