Re: "Monster" Colorado wildfire rages; Obama plans visit

The problem with political hacks is they think they are 'perfectly reasonable' and it is those disagree who are so unreasonable.

You walked right past your hackery, the many times President Obama has 'stiffed' towns.... I'll ask again... name a few of the many....

YOU are the one with the overblown rant on looting, police, all the evacuees, and how the President's visit will create havoc...

Our police are like any other, good, bad, and a few ugly, the point is when our state was split in two by a tornado our Governor called out the National Guard, the 'other' jack booted thugs as some many on the hyper right are fond or calling them from time to time when it fits their warped world view, when the police needed help.

    So the question is-
Is your Governor asleep at the switch orrrrrr

are you over hyping the manpower strain on LE to further your hyperpartisan rant?

Bull****. I live in colorado spring and have met noone here that was complaining that he didnt come and noone here that i have talked to or heard from is happy he is coming. His presence does nothing to help anything here.

Furthermore, this is not unusual for Colorado. This happens almost every summer as it does in much of this region. And yet noone is ever bitching or whining about the president not coming. This fire is not even all that big in comparison to many that have burned even this year. It is only getting attention because of where it is. It is close to Colorado Springs which houses 3 military bases and and Air Force Academy.

Colorado is state with many Mega-Churches.

Have we been told why God wants to burn it up?

    Sigh...

Obviously you don't want to see anything bad said about your guy...Obama...or you'd know of the many times his campaign has stiffed communities for their costs related to his campaign stops. Since you insist that I...a conservative...educate you, I'll help you out this once.

These are the three that I've seen reported. Given this pattern of behavior by the Obama campaign, do you honestly think there are ANY cities being compensated?

Now...on to the rest of your hyperbole. I'm not "over hyping" anything. I'm simply telling Obama that we don't need him here...we don't want him here...and he would better serve our community by staying away.

You can continue to call me a "political hack"...as if throwing slurs around is any kind of reasonable response to anything...but the reality is you'll defend Obama in this manner every time instead of giving cogent, reasonable reasons why we should accept the disruption and increased costs his campaign stop will bring...at a time we can least afford it.

    Yes.

I was complaining about a right-wing opinion article using our troubles for political gain.

Now I'm complaining about Obama...a lefty...doing the same.

Gee, I hope airforce one dosn't crash and burn with Obama on board in the wildfire. That would be terrible.

Well, given the flap about him staying in the white house during the oil spill in the gulf, who can blame the guy?
