Like in the old showbiz days this guy needs to literally get the hook and get pulled off the stage, he is the worst AG in US history and his department is fast & furiously becoming the joke of the town. Of course the genious behind the curtain is none other than Barack Obama himself and he will gladly sacrifice Holder to get re-elected. Much like when Falsa doom motioned for his maiden to jump from the temple to her death in the first Conan movie Holder will gladly take that jump for the chosen one. Along with most of the people who vote for him for that matter.

He doesn't need to resign, he needs to be prosecuted!

"fast and furious" started in 2009, the mexican government was not informed of the program, there were no RFID devices, and no tracking of purchasers. It's a deliberate proliferation of weapons - to the drug cartel. Which caused 300 deaths.

It's strange Holder takes no responsibility for such a big scadal.

Well, 24 hours away, it looks like the contempt vote will be bipartisan which pretty much means the end of Holder. Democrats in the house will pretty much suck up the wind in the sails of Carney's claim of partisan gamemanship.

Obama will have to make a decision. Ask Holder to resign or take the fallout w/ less than six months before his election. Frankly, think its 50/50.

The truth about the Fast and Furious scandal - Fortune Features
"The necessaries of life occasion the great expense of the poor. They find it difficult to get food, and the greater part of their little revenue is spent in getting it. The luxuries and vanities of life occasion the principal expense of the rich, and a magnificent house embellishes and sets off to the best advantage all the other luxuries and vanities which they possess. ... It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion."
