These Democrat voting minorities would be the non-citizen, deceased, or convicted felon racial groups ?
The question is more important than the answer!

Let's not forget the thousands (if needed) of absentee ballots riding around in former ACORN, (who knows what they call themselves now) trunks, just waiting for some stooge, George Soros funded, SOS, liberal/progressive to pop up with the old 'hey, just found these ballots to count'.....

    Just like with Al Franken.

    4) BOTH FOUGHT IN WORLD WAR II, AND ONE OF THEM IS EVEN A WAR HERO.

Way to support those who fought for our country, Governor Scott...... Douche bag!!

While Rick Scott is considering to actually refuse to obey the laws of the United States of America, and go ahead with his vote purge, despite the order from the Department of Justice not to, Supervisors of Elections in Florida, some of them who are Republican, are refusing to obey Scott's orders to conduct the purge. Good for them. They are the REAL Americans, much to Scott's chagrin. But Scott does have an option here. If he doesn't like the disobedience that is being conducted right in front of him, he can always move to a nation that is more in line with his way of thinking when it comes to elections...... Iran!! NOTE: His first choice would have been the Soviet Union, but his Russian comrades seem to be out of business there. Pity.
So you have proof that Florida is hunting down war heroes and trying to purge them from voter rolls?

How can you make that assertion when you've already said you don't know the makeup of the non-responders?

Except all argument as to whether of not they have rides to government centers is moot if no hearing is required. Where are you reading about a hearing in the first place? The WWII vet in the article simply said he sent them the proof. I've seen no talk of hearings.

That said, I haven't been able to find a copy of the purge letter - to verify the details of what is acceptable proof and how it can be submitted.

I didn't know the living US citizens affected by this were included in those minorities. Or did you just make up a straw man? Well, it fits your MO perfectly so I don't doubt it.

the issue of voter purges aside for a second...

I think the issue of the fed still having control over some of the southern states elections has got to stop... I think 135 years is a long enough punishment for their part in the Civil War.

If that were their only attack on the voting (and more importantly human) rights of minorities you'd be right. Sadly, Southern states had that whole "Jim Crow" issue only a few decades ago. Furthermore, there are still people alive today not much older than myself who remember a time when the South was intimidating not just blacks who tried to vote but killing people coming to ensure they had that right. In general, **** the South. It's got over 150 years of history proving that when it comes to voting, it doesn't really like anybody who isn't white and protestant.

You can get removed from the list of jurisdictions covered by section 5 of the Voting Rights Act just by going a few years without being proven in court to have engaged in racial electoral discrimination. Some places have managed to do that. A few more have had the option to be removed, but chose to remain covered because they felt that it was a good thing to make sure to monitor election officials closely. But, most of the covered jurisdictions are still covered because they haven't stopped doing it.

Total tax rates- People living in poverty: 16.2%. The median American: 27%. Working people who make over $140k/year: 31%. The top 1%: 30%. Super rich investors: around 15%. Help the democrats retake the house.

Use of quote marks? Do you deny that Hispanics are ethnic minorities? And they represent 23% of Florida's population, yet they represent 58% of the purge. Yep, that's not racist.

But go ahead, GOP. Keep wondering why the fastest ethic group in America is becoming more and more Democratic by the day.
