and the right to decide for us what is bad and what is good, along with the right to take personal property that might be used to distribute that which it has decided is bad. It's all a part of Constitutional limited government supported by conservatives.

It must be in there somewhere.

New York City is a very unique city. Why should anyone here care unless they live in NYC? Did you know that in Elizabethtown, KY you can't carry an ice cream cone with more than two scoops on it in your pocket? It's just one of those things you see on the news and go "Well that's New York."

In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and that’s crazy." -Reagan

Excessive soft drink consumption in a country with one of the highest obesity statistics in the universe can objectively be seen as a bad thing.
Would you react the same way to an indoor smoking ban?

How true. I think a lot of it has to do with their euphemistic term "children" for what are really failed abortions (a scientific fact considering the overwhelming consensus among those of us who have adopted this evolved understanding).

That is not an answer to the question I posed. Care to try again or do you know you are going to look silly?

apparently, it doesn't apply to convenience or grocery stores.

Does it matter what I think is good or bad? I thought it was the job of government to decide.

    This is so stupid.

The measure would not apply to diet sodas, fruit juices, dairy-based drinks like milkshakes, or alcoholic beverages; it would not extend to beverages sold in grocery or convenience stores.
