LANSING (WWJ/AP) – The State Attorney General is now investigating possible election fraud in the re-election campaign of longtime Michigan Congressman Thaddeus McCotter.
WWJ’s Lansing Bureau Chief Tim Skubick reports McCotter’s campaign turned in 2,000 petition signatures — but there was a problem.
“They found a grand total of 244 of those names to be valid. The rest were not,” said Skubick.
But it's only election fraud when the Democrats do it.
[/snark]
But, seriously, McCotter has served many terms in office, and even ran an aborted attempt at the presidency. He would have been a shoe in for reelection this year. So what happened? If you ask me, he got lazy, then someone in his campaign panicked, which is why there were so many photocopied sheets from 2010 mixed together in this batch. In defense of McCotter himself, I do not believe that he personally knew what was going on. I believe that this is a case where a Congressman let his staff get out of control, but ultimately, it was his laziness that has gotten him into trouble. I can only say one word here.....
WTF???? OK, make that 3 words.
Article is here.
