I don't get 'huffy' with leftists. I just laugh and point out their own shortcomings to them.

So are you now dumping your previous statement and saying that Barry was not being sarcastic but was instead discussing modern technology? Do you think that's what this dangerous goofball was referring to?

It appears that some people are actually saying that Obama really considers himself to be the "Messiah."
and that the pundits who said he would "cut and run" (Pundit's words, not mine) from Iraq were right.

But, surely no one would take such absurd positions, would they?

So he stuck to Bush's plan. Even exceeded it. Any withdrawal you'd be calling "cut and run." Should we occupy Iraq forever?

"Cut and run" is just the righty slogan that they'd be using for any withdrawal by Obama. Same people were criticizing him for staying in not too long ago. Fact is, it was originally Bush's plan that Obama has stuck to largely. Like your avatar, it's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

If he exceeded it then he did not stick the plan, did he?

Yes, any withdrawal outside of the original intent is cut and run. By leaving too early it means everyone who was killed there has died in vain.

No, Iraq should not be occupied forever and with proper policing, training and education it needn't be.

Yes, that's right. I remember Hannity in particular telling anyone who would listen that Obama would 'cut and run" from Iraq, meaning a precipitous troop withdrawal and abandonment of the mission, whatever the mission was at that time. Obama has, instead, kept on the same course set by his predecessor, an yet we're hearing that the pundits were right, when they were demonstrably wrong.

Despite all the hype about "change" and about how we've elected a Marxist, a Socialist, a Muslim terrorist and etc., there really isn't all that much difference between Obama and Bush, at least not when it comes to policies over which they actually have some control.
