Do you also think that the poor should get no representation too? This is terrible logic.

nope i ALWAYS want separation of church and state like the church has no say in what the state puts forth as law when they pay NO taxes.

Funny how libs conveniently forget that every day. It's easy to scream for higher taxes when you pay none.

Almost everyone pays taxes, including the poor and Catholics.

Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

So your view of "separation of church and state" is the state gets to dictate to the church what thier health care coverage they choose to provide covers..... you are being serious?

I am of the belief that a lot of people pay no taxes. When I was making under 40K/year I didnt pay any.

I am a lib and I haven't forgotten it. Don't stereo type a party based on the extreme views. And some of us (if not many) do pay taxes.

why hasn't the Catholic Church suggested an optional-rider for birth control/abortion/circumcision/elective vasectomy-hysteroctomy?

If you have a job and you're spending your money, you're paying local and state sales taxes. You're paying payroll taxes. Now it's often the case that some folks get a net refund or additional aid from the government, but almost everyone pays taxes.
