Basically you are showing the tendency so prevalent amongst the modern American right of denigrating science while knowing next to nothing about complex subjects. They are using it as justification to remove the property tax. A bad idea, because we'll probably just get the taxes somewhere else where it will hurt, but everything revolves around this boom of ours.
