To be honest, businesses benefit less from smart people who are just there to get paid then they do from people who actually want to work. If all college means is "working without pay" - perhaps you're not one of the few who belongs there.Finally, someone distinguished between quantity and quality. I was a National Merit scholar but I couldn't stand working without pay, which is all college means. I was never allowed to contribute my talent to society unless I sacrificed by living like a 15-year-old until I finished college and graduate schools.
