"Flipping flopping" is a meaningless talking point word used to attack any politician who changes his views... God forbid they every get information and form a new opinion.

But everybody knows it's a meaningless attack word used by both sides.

Ironically, "not really doing anything" may have already resolved the issue. In addition to dropping DADT, by refusing to defend the DoMA Obama has set up Supreme Court challenges to the definition and recognition of marriage. Because of his inaction it is likely that by this time next year the SCOTUS will strike down all obstacles to same sex marriage.

Playing a deep game requires patience.

Obama changed his views on something that doesn't effect policy or the law whatsoever. It is meaningless.

He might as well have given his views on a chunnel between Florida and Cuba. It's a circus,and those who buy into it are the clowns.

I am unemployed....my ex-wife left me for her college sweetheart took my children and destroyed my credit buy going into foreclosure on my house..because I was a good guy to my kids and could not put hem on the street.

Do I deserve you harsh understanding of reality?

If so.....I would very much kike to "explain" things to you
