Either way, he can say whatever he want's, the record shows he has not supported it, and I am sure he will continue to show no support for it in his actions (or lack of actions as it may be).

Considering what NC just did, and him coming out with this now, anyone that believes him and does not see it as pure political BS is a bafoon.

Being pro-SSM or pro-choice does not mean you are not objective though.

I'm surprised he did that before the election. As to votes, if he could get the college campus votes again, young people (for the most part) are very flexible in supporting gay issues. That North Carolina vote shocked me. Times are changing, whether we like it or not, chief.

The same could be said for being pro-traditional marriage and pro-life as well.

Just because some one is not gay does not mean they do not support SSM. I was leaning towards Romney, but depending on what Obama does in regards to his stance on SSM I might rethink it.

Believing that minorities are going to move in droves to Romney because Obama supports gay marriage is sheer lunacy. Besides your wishful thinking, what do you have to support such a notion?

Perhaps not in the same homily, but certainly hopefully. The church has fallen pretty hard when it comes to alot of such things; most especially with regards to remarriage.

The amendment passing was not surprising living on the border of the state. Some of the individual districts were a bit surprising though.
