I guess this puts Obama on the opposite side of Bill Clinton and Mitt Romney.

Some students are practicing abstinence, some aren't. Some will have STD and some won't, some teenage girls will become pregnant and some won't, some will have abortions, some won't.

We can ask ourselves whether teenage pregnancies and STD have increased since the 1950's, for example, or, despite all the information we have at hand, increased. I think the answer is obvious.

It seems clear then that sex education is not enough, that there has to be more. Rather then demonize those who want to arrive at the same conclusion, ie less STD, unwanted pregnancies and abortions, we should have an open and honest debate on how to get to that point.

As well as many of his Black constituents.

Obama Gay Marriage Support Leaves Black Churches Conflicted

That, and his serious mismanaging of the economy, will probably cost him in November.

Actually, teen pregnancy rates have dropped below that of the 1950s. There were fewer teenage mothers in 2010 than there have been in any year since 1946.

The reduction is contributed to an increase in birth control use, in particular two forms of birth control.

I don't think this will cost him as many black votes as you seem to think. And it will gain him some votes from other places as well. Especially younger people.

Lol! How silly of you! Black voters alone didn't put Obama in office....losing some of them wont take him out of office either.

North Carolina poll: More blacks for gay marriage

If you bother to click thru you will read that a majority of black North Carolinians are still opposed to gay marriage but the number supporting it has jumped in the past week.

That is an unbalanced headline (but true) while a balanced article follows, one that lays out the facts. A problem often seen as news outlets try to grab eyes. Don't think there is much to be done about it but I do wonder how such headlines can affect a person's perception of bias in the media.
