If you...had the chance to do something good, but knew you would fail, be damaged, and end up looking the fool while those who wish you harm danced upon your blood....would you be foolish enough to go ahead?

Baby steps...and understanding today's political frontier need to be embraced.

You can't make this **** up, accusing Romney of being intolerant exactly ONE day after officially changing his view on the issue. Is this supposed to be a joke? A really bad joke? This whole move is pure political theater and cheap theater at that.

Just in case anyone was wondering what Bristol Palin thought:

Bristol Palin Criticizes Obama's ... Parenting - Slams president for listening to daughters on gay marriage

    This is the best:

What's more, "we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home," adds the single mom. "Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview.
Really? Where's your baby's Dad? I don't care what you want to do, but at least live up to your own worldview.

It was a well timed appeal to both left-center populism. No heroics involved.

I totally know what you mean. It's like all of those unemployed people who talk about how good it is to have a job... what morons. It's like, "if jobs are so damn great, then why don't you have one idiot?"

    That's just the best.

    No, it is flip flopping.

What happened in those past four years to change his mind?

Be prepared for more nonsense of this nature. Anything to keep peoples minds off the really issue, which of course is the failing economy which, under his stewardship, can only get worse.

Like he said, it was Biden who gave him the little push that he needed to commit.

People who think this was 'timed' watch too many political thrillers.

    No.

    Wrong.

"Flipping flopping" is a meaningless talking point word used to attack any politician who changes his views... God forbid they every get information and form a new opinion.

But everybody knows it's a meaningless attack word used by both sides.
