    Congress' intelligence heads: Taliban stronger

The question begs to be asked "Is Hussein Obama losing the war in Afhanistan by not listening to his Cdrs in the field?"

Congress' intelligence heads: Taliban stronger - Yahoo! News

WASHINGTON (AP) — The leaders of the congressional committees said Sunday they believed that the Taliban had grown stronger since President Barack Obama sent 33,000 more U.S. troops to Afghanistan in 2010.
The pessimistic report by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., challenges Obama's own assessment last week in his visit to Kabul that the "tide had turned" and that "we broke the Taliban's momentum."

I think the bigger question is why are you still talking about this Hussein guy? If you mean Barack Obama, why are you so unable to call him by name?

under obama the taliban has grown stronger, but the larger number of troops really wasnt it,it had more to do with the expanded use of drones that cant differentiate civilians or enemies.

if anyone understood how fragile that region is or understood coin or (counter insurgency) strategy they would see why such actions are harmful.

    Indeed.

You definitely can't blow the Taliban back to the stone age because they'll just be like "FREE UPGRADE!"

These are people who literally live on less than a dollar a day and are happy about it. You know what? Maybe they do deserve Sharia law and all that other crazy **** they want to try. North America and Europe seem to have come out of the dark ages of slavery and serial misogyny relatively well. They, as human beings, should be able to do the same.

So I'm supposed to believe Congress here?

What does it matter? All this comes down to is more fear. You ask me, the real terrorist here is our government. Always trying to keep us in line with new fear tactics. Oh the Taliban is stronger! But let's not consider if that's because of our aggressive, interventionist policies in the region...no sir! Just give up some more freedom and go cower in that corner, and we'll tell you the next thing to fear!

It is. But people typically putting emphasis on his middle name are doing so only for cheap political points and nothing more. Dumb tactics used by idiots should be called out for what they are. The last thing we should be doing at this point is encouraging more stupid.
