The question begs to be asked "Is Hussein Obama losing the war in Afhanistan by not listening to his Cdrs in the field?"
Congress' intelligence heads: Taliban stronger - Yahoo! News
WASHINGTON (AP) — The leaders of the congressional committees said Sunday they believed that the Taliban had grown stronger since President Barack Obama sent 33,000 more U.S. troops to Afghanistan in 2010.
The pessimistic report by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., challenges Obama's own assessment last week in his visit to Kabul that the "tide had turned" and that "we broke the Taliban's momentum."
We were pretty successful in Iraq because Bush laid out the course of action, got the Iraqis to drop their differences (for the most part) and all Obama had to do was follow the plan. Afghanistan is different. Bush didn't leave Office with a course of action laid out. As a result, Obama...who has no ability in foreign policy and no good advisors...has been quite deficient in working out a good solution. Such is the nature of Obama.
I think the best thing we can do is cut and run. The problem is...within a year, the Taliban will be back in power...in two years, Al Qaeda will be back in business there. In five years, we'll have another terrorist attack on our soil.
That's our reward for electing Obama.
