I really don't know what to say about this - it is bizarre

Alabama politician Bill Johnson 'obsessed' with donating sperm

Bill Johnson, a former Alabama gubernatorial candidate, has left his wife and family in Prattville to be with babies he secretly conceived as a sperm donor in New Zealand.

Johnson’s wife, Kathy Hale Johnson, told the New Zealand Herald that Johnson recently returned to live in New Zealand where he donated sperm to at least 10 women without her knowledge.

"He wants me to move over there. He's not coming back,” she told the newspaper.

Well, the good news is that America has one less wackdoo Evangelical Republican.

It amazes me how many so called Evangelicals go so far off the Christian reservation. So many like to be called Christian but seem to know nothing about what it means to actually be a Christian.

He is against gay marriage but wants to help lesbian couples have babies? It is awfully early for me to get drunk enough to understand that!
 
I wouldn't be worried about him making sperm deposits. Now if he were making sperm withdrawals, that would be another story. :mrgreen:
 
A politician in Alabama against gay marriage. What a surprise! That is pretty much a requirement if you want to be elected in Alabama. I don't think it would be very suprising for a politician in Alabama to be personally ambivalent about the issue but having to take the position that will get them elected. Not saying its the case with this guy but one has to be realistic.
 
I donate sperm all the time, I just always seem to fail to make it to the sperm donor facility before the donation occurs.

Okay. How exactly is he being compelled by his religion to do this? I see nothing in this (or any other article) that states he was compelled to donate sperm to multiple women because of some directive from God or religion.
