That's quite true. Radical Islam knows it, the Nazis know it, Fascists know it and the Communists certainly know it as well.
We wrote the book on it.
But that ten per cent can be applied to those in America who love their country also and will quickly turn on the OWS types, and those who using them, in order to defend the freedoms they've earned.
'tis true. I don't think OWS has pertinent cause for revolt. While I can understand some of the base anger, they've succumbed to simplistic rioting and looting. If one is to engage in violence against the government, at the very least they should take it out against the government.
Two mistakes are being made here by the OWS people and their handlers. The first is by the simple minded OWSers who think they can demonstrate, damage and disrupt indefinitely without a counter protest, much more violent and dramatic than they ever imagined, taking place.
The mistake being made by their handlers is that they can create mayhem and revolution in America without the "silent majority" of Americans ever striking back. Like Yamamoto after Pearl Harbor, the far left may eventually realize that "...all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant."
There are many problems with OWS. A lot I believe stems from their lack of organization and leadership. While the base protest would be OK under these conditions, without leadership you're essentially letting the inmates run the asylum. Under these conditions, fringe groups within the movement can act under the same name as the larger movement with no internal policing of action and membership. I think on many fronts we see that happening more and more as OWS stretches on.
