Indubitably, and we did. Who wrote the book on guerrilla warfare? We did.

I was thinking along those lines when the OP's link mentioned hooded anarchists. Those are not OWS types (despite the OP's attempt to paint them as such).

Except the "government" is the one suffering. The people are. Innocent people working and earning a living are having their property smashed and destroyed and their tax dollars squandered to fight back against irresponsible, selfish douchebags with an agenda.

    Also, what Chuck said.

As I said previously, it is unfortunate that people do not understand the base of riot. Don't target local shops, fire bomb a police station for god's sake.

No, they destroyed tea that had been shipped by Britain, as the colonies weren't allowed to purchase tea from anyone else. Moreover, the tea was taxed, hence, taxation without representation.

The American revolution bears no resemblance to the hooligans tearing up property in Seattle.

and they're not "OWS". They're self declared "anarchists." They could be considered the extreme end of the small government conservatives.

Ohhh....OK. That wasn't a business (Certainly not East India Company which had monopoly...surely not), that was "government". Is that what they teach in school these days? For ****'s sake, did you see our propaganda from back then? OWS is just carrying on in a time honored American tradition of ****ing **** up when we ain't happy.

Yes, yes. Let's kill cops who largely protect and serve for our benefit. So much better than destroying cars.

No no no no. Didn't you see the post? That wasn't tea held by the East India Company monopoly...that was government. No private property was destroyed in the Tea Party at all. Nothing to see here...move along.
