I think it sucks that this happened, but I think it is also dishonest to compare this to cases where people initially weren't even going to be tried with anything. If the cops said, you know "Hillbilly right to defend your asshole kids clause" came into play, only to step back from it after realizing how badly they screwed up that would be one thing but it isn't. People are going to jail for this and no one questions if they should go to jail or not.
This is the key difference. See, for whatever reason you guys have this fascination with trying to make people that don't agree with your POV to seem backwards racist or something. If you were going to say, give me a thread where a black guy shot a white kid because he thought the white kid was up to no good and there is a chance he could walk, then I would be pissed. It seriously would aggravate me. This Treyvon martin thing to me what is more concerning is the law. I really don't give a **** either way about Zimmerman.
You find me some black on white crime where the guy gets away with it and then talk. Otherwise, stop it.
