Why aren't you emailing the **** out of the Treasury Department, demanding that Nugent be arrested? Threatening to kill the president is a crime.

Did the Secret Service drop the ball?

Ted Nugent: 13th place for best album ever in the US album charts, 30th place for best single ever in the US single chart, best album 3 times platinum

Ozzy Osbourne: 3rd place for best album ever in the US album charts, 8th place for best single ever in the US single chart, best album 4 times platinum for 2 records

Aerosmith: 1st place for best album ever in the US album charts for 2 records, 1st place for best single ever in the US single chart, best album 8 times platinum for 2 records

the byrds: 6th place for best album ever in the US album charts, 2 times 1st place for best single ever in the US single chart

lynyrd skynyrd: 5th place for best album ever in the US album charts, 8th place for best single ever in the US single chart, best album 5 times platinum

CCR: 2 times 1st place for best album ever in the US album charts, 5 times 2nd place for best single ever in the US single chart, best album 8 times platinum

the Eagles: 6 times 1st place for best album ever in the US album charts, 5 times nr. 1 place for best single ever in the US single chart, best album 16 times platinum

ZZ top: 4th place for best album ever in the US album charts, 2 times 8th place for best single ever in the US single chart, best album 5 times platinum

Kiss: 2nd place for best album ever in the US album charts, 7th place for best single ever in the US single chart, best album 2 times platinum

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: 2nd place for best album ever in the US album charts, 7th place for best single ever in the US single chart, best album 5 times platinum

    J. Geils Band: 1st place for best album ever in the US album charts, 1st place for best single ever in the US single chart

As a big hard rock fan I might not know the music industry as some, but Ted Nugent is not as big as the artists I have mentioned above IMHO. Also, the 2 headlining bands are also more succesfull in the music industry, both having had nr.1 albums in the albums chart and nr.1 singles in the singles chart. REO Speedwagon had a record that had 9 times platinum.

You might like Nugent a lot and I am not going to pretend he is a zero, but when push comes to shove, the music bands I named are bigger in the music industry than Ted Nugent.

think about that for a second.. the US Army.... whose mission it is to wage war against our enemies... to kill them with malice .... is offended at "violent rhetoric"
    .... it makes me giggle
violent rhetoric is one thing, threatening the commander in chief is another. If the military doesn't respect the commander in chief then we have a big problem.

I think Ted Nugent is an interesting character and I like some of his music but that is pretty much where it ends. Anyways, there is nothing stopping him from going down the road to a venue of some kind and putting on a concert for the troops there. I don't see what the big deal is.
"We’re going to close the unproductive tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share. In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and that’s crazy." -Reagan

Actually you are confusing government involvement in helping him perform there with leaving this completely to the private sector and having them attend that show.

You're going to let me go? <wipes tears> Really? Oh thank you sirs, really thank you thank you. I love you guys. <hugs Secret Service agent and they leave> Phew, that was close.

Show me ONE post, on this thread, where I have said I hate President Obama. Just ONE. Hell go through the whole da*n website and find just ONE where I said I hated the president.

What you are is pissed off about is I didn't agree with your over the top rhetoric about Ted Nugent. I can only hope that if your arse is ever put on trial, you have a group of jurors like yourself who has already convicted you on "hearsay" and "personal opinion" without benefit of evidence or trial.
