I dont think your statement applies in business. It certainly does in politics.

The fact remains we are still at 8.2% noteven counting the people who have quit looking and there are 1.2 million more people out of a job then there were when GWB left office....

It was a sarcastic remark. We have enough American's out of work to hire before we hire Mexicans.

The U6 does. It's 14.5% Black Unemployment Rate at 14.0% for March 2012, Virtually Unchanged from February 2012 and that is not a U6 number.

Well still, if you put them on the legal side of working you can't pay them below minimum wage anymore. Then, as an employer would you rather hire an American with practically a guaranteed level of education background or a Mexican crossing the border when the wage is the same?

Doesn't matter, the bottom line is that illegal, is illegal. Hey, here is an idea, instead of trumping up faux charges, and sending in the stormtroopers against a 100 year old Guitar maker, why not go after all these illegal immigrant hiring businesses?

Well that's kind of a blind-sided off topic rant.

    1) it wouldn't be illegal if it were legal work like I was stating with a legal work permit.
    2) I agree. The bottleneck to go after is the employers not the employees. Easier target and if the jobs aren't there, illegal employees won't come.

And that has absolutely nothing to do with who is President.

Unless of course, you think we have been living under a Socialist Economy this whole time where the Government has direct control over all aspects of the workforce.....

On the other hand, Obama has no problem trying to take credit for any one-tenth of a reduction in the unemployment rate when he conducts his campaign speeches. Perhaps HE'S the one who thinks we are living under a Socialist Economy?
