well thank God the store is happy, the customers are happy, the whole town is happy.

but what happens next time, when the manager tells the girl to piss off, and the girl sues for religious discrimination.

what should the judge decide in such a case?

should the govt. force a business owner to make accommodation for one person's religious objections, even if he feels it will adversely effect his business and his customers?

    I say NO!!

I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

Please answer the question I asked. Have you ever made a request of any kind to management at any time?
I'm already gearing up for Finger Vote 2014.

yes, I requested to leave 15 minutes early to go to a doctor's appt. the next week, and offered to come in 15 minutes early that morning to compensate.

    he granted that request.

So you're okay with asking your employer to make certain allowances for your personal needs. Why is this any different, just because religion is involved?

Yes, because heaven forfend an individual employee be allowed to avoid duties which conflict with their individual convictions while their employer makes certain that customers who have different convictions are adequately serviced.
