That is another option, and one that has been planned for. It's got my initials engraved on the side of the .45ACP, 230 gr. JHP.

    USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!

Lets get to number 1 and stop coddling murderers. Start executing rapists.

Yeah, dammit! Are we going to let Iran and Saudi Arabia out-barbarian us?!
"The necessaries of life occasion the great expense of the poor. They find it difficult to get food, and the greater part of their little revenue is spent in getting it. The luxuries and vanities of life occasion the principal expense of the rich, and a magnificent house embellishes and sets off to the best advantage all the other luxuries and vanities which they possess. ... It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion."

I am in favor of expanding the death penalty to include rapist, child molesters, drug dealers that push thier crap onto kids and anyone who commits premeditated murder or kills someone while committing another felony. Get rid of this "special circumstances" nonsense.
Dead people don't do lots of things, I guess you could say they don't do anything by virtue of being dead. The fact that dead people don't do things is no reason to make people dead.

It is, if them still being alive is a threat to the wellbeing and safety of society. Other than execution, there is no 100% guaranteed way to ensure that the public is safe from these ciminals. Only execution gives us that 100% saftey.

There is no aggregated safety gained through use of the death penalty.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers
