Yes. Racism and bigotry do not exist. It's clearly been fixed and no longer happens. Brilliant logic of yours there Einstein.

Or Zimbabwe and Somalia, since they are the post-racial ideal.

Apparently you have no idea what form of government we actually have.

We are a representative republic. This means that we vote into office representatives that decide on laws for us. We do not vote, as a whole, on every single piece of legislation. In fact, I would say that the majority of our founding fathers would have found it a hugely bad idea to allow people to have a direct vote on most issues, particularly social policies.

It also means that those laws are limited by the rules set forth in the Constitution for protecting the rights of the citizens from someone trying to vote away other people's rights or voting to keep others from rights with a mere majority (>50%). The branch of our government that ensures that the Constitution is being upheld, particularly by the states since the addition of the 14th Amendment, is the SCOTUS. There is a way to keep rights away from certain groups of people if you can get a supermajority via the Amendment process to vote in place an Amendment to do this. I don't see that happening though when it comes to same sex marriage. More and more people every day want legal same sex marriage.

The logic is that as long as inferior behavior is shown by a race, then racism should exist. The race card should be discarded from the deck because there is nothing wrong with racism unless applied to groups that behave well and produce much.

Yours is a new interpretation created in the catastrophe of the 1960s. Before that, ethnic minorities like the Irish had to make themselves useful and acceptable to the WASP majority.

when a Legislature acts against the will of the people they are a activist legislature and I have been saying that all along my left wing friend.

They do exist and as long as there are lefties like Sharpton and Jackson around they will always exist.....I will never understand why you lefties want race baiters and racists like them as your leaders but you do.

What part are you referring to as the "new interpretation"?

Of course this doesnt make the old interpretation right either. The old interpretation of "person" used to only include white males, now it includes other races and females.
