When are the police really going to start crackingdown on these left wing whackos instead of just slapping them on the wrist? They are Hussein Obama's foot soliders and are costing this country millions of dollars.

NEW YORK - Police say more than 70 people were taken into custody following a rally at the park where the Occupy movement was born.
Hundreds of protesters had returned to Zuccotti Park near Wall Street on Saturday to mark the six months that have passed since the movement began. They locked arms and sat down after police announced on a bullhorn at around 11:30 p.m. that the park was closed.

do you want the police to start shooting them in the head?

locking them up at GITMO?

So tell me something you don't think this scum are Hussein Obama's supporters?

Some of them might be... but what does that have to do with him? To say something like "Obamas footsoldiers" implies that he's directing them to do what they're doing. Which he is not.

You are making a guilt by association fallacy.

If a Neo-Nazi votes for Santorum, does that make Santorum a Neo-Nazi?

For the most part they're not. If you listen to them talk, you could confirm this yourself. Quite a lot of them really don't like Obama.

Why don't they like him?

Why don't they like him?

Lot's of reasons -

Wall Street Bailouts, his pro-financial industry fiscal policy generally, support for various extraneous wars, use of drones in same, perpetuation of fourth amendment abuses (i.e. the patriot act stuff from the Bush years), total failure to pass universal healthcare, etc. There are probably more reasons, but those are some of the bigger ones I've heard. Basically, he's not nearly as progressive as he promised to be, and a lot of people feel betrayed as a result (I am not one of these people - I'm too much of a cynic to have expected much from pretty much any politician).

Well why did Obama, Biden and Pelosi defend them when they first came on the scene?

For the same reason I would defend them now - some of what they're saying makes sense, they're talking about important issues (sometimes), and they deserve to be heard. The more cynical answer is that they're useful in re-framing the economic debate in the US along lines that are more helpful to left wing politicians than right wing politicians.

... Since when do "parks" close? I've heard of basketball courts being closed but entire parks? :/

Yes. They definitely want to bring this country down. That would be exceedingly useful to unemployed 20-somethings and is in no way crazy.

They don't rape women and most of them don't vandalize anything (although criminal elements within certain cities have used them to shield criminal activity). They aren't Mongols. They're American citizens.

Are you for real?

There were many rapes at Occupy protests, actually.

I sort of agree, although I'd change the word "progressive" to "anti-capitalist".

I'm aware that there have been several crimes - including a few rapes (really, not "many" rapes)- in the area of Occupy protests, but much of the crime (depending on which city you're talking about) stems from, e.g., gutter punks opportunistically setting up headquarters in Occupy camps in order to avoid the police. I can't speak for many places, but that's definitely true in several major west coast cities (notably San Francisco, Oakland and Portland).
