Third female lawmaker introduces bill to limit men’s Viagra access

Who thinks such legislation will pass? Raise your hand.

Honestly I think it will get some votes and then be withdrawn at the last minute. I hope it passes, though.

The ohio twit in question is not seen as one of the brighter lights in the drawer of bulbs

It's OK, folks. There are male birth control pills in testing RIGHT now, that is gonna solve all of this.

While we're at this, let's pass a law that requires women to get circumcisions. *snip snip* Bwuahahahahaha

I don't really get why this is happening. ED drugs are taken by elderly men to satisfy their wives.

The only justification I can imagine is women are threatening to cheat. In case young'uns didn't know, men's sex drives tend to plummet as we get older.

It's happening, because of the stupidity of some our elected officials.

ED drugs are not comparable to abortion or birth control. These women are just raging out like illogical children to try and make some kind of point.

ED drugs and vasectomies are stupid to legislate against. But then, so are birth control and abortions. The point I'm getting is that if one party wants to put female sexuality in the cross hairs repeatedly (for whatever reason), then the other party should get to experience their sexuality put in the cross hairs as well.

Well duh.

See, this forums allow people who don't necessarily agree to exchange their opinions and thoughts. Yes your vocabulary may be limited to "duh", but try at least to add to the thread as best you can.

Women only take the pill because they actually carry the child. Good luck getting men to take it. Better to hold a vasectomy campaign.

The worst part is, these women are elected officials with the power to vote. They need to be stripped of power at the next election and sent home, but good. We don't need people like that in our government. They are becoming emotional and illogical. Where is the govt paying for ED treatment? Someone let me know.

The female legislators were vindictive to make a point, so all you did was point out the painfully obvious. Can you at least try to rub more than two brain cells together to see why?

Unless they're married, good luck getting women to trust that you've actually taken your pill. ;)

it's a particularly stupid "statement". Conservatives have no problem with not mandating that employers pay for their employees viagra

It may interest you to know that not everyone shares the same opinion, even when it may seem obvious to you and I.

And who says Republicans are sexist pigs? What nonsense!

In other words, contrary to your earlier assertion, Republicans AREN'T just concerned about the religious aspect.

What's the updated version of Reagan's old quip about the scariest words in the English language? "Hi, I'm from the goverment and I'm here to help stick a 10" want in your vagina."

Allowing companies to choose to "opt out" is not the same thing as being "against"...... You should take some time to absorb this reality.

I think that was explained in the quote you commented to. Both are issues of privacy and in the case of abortion forcing a woman to get an ultrasound is an unnecessary step. So forcing men to also undergo an unnecessary step shouldn't be a problem with conservatives who don't believe in privacy.

Again, you're making this a conservative issue. It isn't. There are plenty of liberals who find abortion objectionable. It seems that there is no logic in a discussion about limiting abortion. ProLifers, unfortunately, see every single step as nothing but the camel's nose under the tent...as a War Against Women.

The right to an abortion has been judged as guaranteed under the Constitution. Steps leading up to that abortion, hoops that must be jumped through, are the voices of those who say, "Yep, we understand it's constitutional, but we'd like to make it a bit tougher so the decision isn't quite so easy to make."

I see nothing wrong with that . . . I'm ProLife.

And the bolded sentiment is why these women have to make exaggerated gestures to point out the absurdity of the 'White Male Dominance', that is gradually being challenged and changed.

I disagree. Sexual satisfaction is definitely a health concern.

Yes, it certainly is and no less so than a woman controlling when and how often she gets pregnant.

Or when an how often she has an abortion.

Just as long as other people pay for it.

Or when or how often she uses contraceptives.

Just as long as other people pay for it.

It's hard to believe that Women's Liberation has led to this sort of dependency. Was this what it was all about?

Of course you see nothing wrong with that, most pro-lifers don't. Pro-Lifers are acting like little kids that can't get their way, so they're throwihng a temper tanturm to make it more difficult. It's quite pathetic and quite telling.
