I complimented you. Im sure you will be as direct and confrontational ANY time some one here offers some weak excuse for the acts and actions of terrorists.

My heart goes out the innocent people murdered by an unstable American solider.

I understand that Obama has apologized.

Let this being a teaching moment, and spend some more time and possibly money safe-guarding the mental health of those who sacrifice so much for this country.

i can agrre with that, people knew he was crazy but wouldnt say nothing because he was an officer, probably the same case with this ssg, question is do we blame the soldier who went crazy or the military who was told he was crazy but ignored military sop to meet a quota?

People do it all the time: mental imbalance isn't a 100% constant.

No, but it should. I'm imagining the reaction here if a foreign soldier in the United States (and they are here all the time on training exercises) murdered 16 American women and children and his government insisted he could only be tried there.

I think it was a smart thing for Obama to have apologized to Karzai, if for no other reason to try and prevent a backlash to US and Nato soldiers.

Some idiots will try and use this stupid crime to stir up anti-US feelings in Afghanistan, in an attempt to make sure more US soldiers will be attacked and killed.

What rules do you need to defend American troops?

I simply do not get it ... you are with Americans and you defend them or you are not! Period!
So your position is that American troops are to be defended, no matter what they do? What a sad, sick outlook on things. Murdering women and children in cold blood is defensible if an American soldier does it? God help us all.
