MO House bill would restrict vasectomies only to save lives

yea, good luck with that, as if men ever had a choice.

Hmm. I said, "They figured if the state can control women's bodies and reproductive choices, they should control men's bodies and reproductive choices as well."

Are you implying that men have no reproductive choices? Would you not consider condoms, abstinence, vasectomies to be choices men should be allowed to make about their own bodies? Or are you trying to say that men are so controlled by sexual urges that they have no choice at all, they are forced to have sex or they will die? :lamo

I'm entitled to be paid by the taxpayer for my abstinence. Rates are to be based on how often the typical guy in my demographic has sex, times the national avarage a prostitute charges for the 'service'.

Let's do the math:
The average guy has
sex
about twice a week if he's married—a little less often (once) if he's single, a little more (three times) if he's single but shacking up.
Get the Sex You Deserve: Men's Health

Absolute minimum is usually $150. That means that is the lowest price the lady is allowed to take for anything. Most of them won't do anything for that though, and if they do you'll be lucky to get 5 minutes of their "time".
Expect to pay from 300 to 600 for a roll in the hay. Some of these girls get up to 1500 for an hour of their time.

In Nevada, how much do prostitutes charge at brothels? - Yahoo! Answers

I'm legally married, not living with anyone, so that's twice pr/wk = 8 times pr/mo.

Just as I assumed the most expensive BC pills and most expensive OBGYN visits, I will also assume the higher typical prostitute charges of $600.

$600x8 means I'm entitled to $4,800pr/mo or Ms. Fluke is a sexist.

Actually, you're entitled to be paid by your insurance company if you choose a vacsectomy, and the procedure is covered. Nobody gets paid for abstinence, even me. But if you'd like to pay me not to have sex, I can give you my PayPal account. :)

Prostitution isn't legal unless you're Mr Long Schlong and work in the porn industry. I highly doubt you'd qualify for that position, though - so your argument is null. :D

Oh, so now you're trying to deny me BC :2wave:

Not at all. If you need male hormonal treatment for low testosterone or erectile dysfunction... not that there's anything wrong with that, dear... I believe your prescription insurance should cover both! Happy?

Post 27 you equated abstinence as a "reproductive choice" along with other options which people should be paid for.

I want my Obama Money! From his stash!

Actually, Post #27 was directed to another poster who decried the fact that men have no choice over their reproductive rights. I said nothing about money, taxpayer or otherwise. That's your schtick... but it has nothing to do with my Post #27, or the topic of this thread actually.

Have a nice evening doing what you do. Bye. :)

If a guy wants a kid, but the mother is too much of a raging liberal bitch to allow that to happen in any shape or form, including post-birth abortion if she must, then does his choice factor in in any way? not according to law out there I know of. some "reproductive" choice. A guy has a choice to have safe sex or not(provided the girl allows it), and from there, it's all the girl's "choice". riiiight.

Here is a thought: if a man wishes to have a child? Find a female that wants the same thing. If not? do not have sex! Seems pretty easy to me! And raging liberal bitch? Really? Did you really have to say that? Cover your ugly little penis up or stay home if you have such a damn problem with this.

And I say "Why not?". If women are not allowed to have contraception, then why should men have it. Let's ALL go back to the Middle Ages together, men and women alike. Let's ALL join in on the insanity that is sweeping the nation. Why should only women have all the fun?

But, seriously, I think a great point is being made by these women.

So when is male masturbation going to be a capital offence over there in Christian Taliban land?

That's what I always tell "liberals" but, tsk, its just "too impractical". -.-

This is getting ridiculous. Nobody but the absolutely insane are trying to take contraception away from women. The debate is whether or not birh control should be free and whether or not religious groups should be mandated to pay for birth control through insurance.

So tired of the fear mongering, hyperbolic bull**** and the people who continue to spread it.

Yes, this is the road we're going down. Some people start spouting off their stupid and another groups say "Hey! I can beat that stupid!"; and they usually at the very least tie it.

Let's give a round of applause to all of those contributing to the problem.

Because no one is trying to pass a law saying that women can't have contraceptives, would be a good reason why not.

But, hey...if the Libbos want to try even harder to show their asses, then get after it. It will benefit the nation, in the long run.

but that has been resolved
religious organizations with objections will not incur the cost of contraceptives

Many insurance companies went to self-insurance to escape their state's mandate of contraception. Additionally, those that didn't go to self-insruance will have to pay increased premiums to provide the birth control. So, yes. The cost in many, if not all, cases will be borne by the religious organization.

I don't beleive that Obama mandated that insurance cover vasectomies. Since it is elective surgery, many insurance companies do not. Which is the same as birth control pills.
