Conservative media mogul Andrew Breitbart has died, according to his website Big Government.
The site, which he founded, reported that Breitbart, 43, died "unexpectedly from natural causes" in Los Angeles shortly after midnight on Wednesday.
"We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior," the article on the site said.

Shocking death. I feel for his kids and his wife. It's much easier to deal with a death that you've prepared for where you can say your goodbyes than it is to deal with a death that seemingly or actually comes out of nowhere. I hope they'll be strong.

Anyone suspicious about a 43-year-old, apparently healthy man dying of "natural causes"?

Well, one thing's for sure, if he had slightly too much caffeine in his system, we'll be told. Brietbart wasn't well liked by many.

Andrew Breitbart, the noted conservative Internet publisher and author, has died. He was 43. A statement posted on his website said that Breitbart died "unexpectedly from natural causes" this morning. The Los Angeles Coroner's Office confirmed to ABC News Radio that Breitbart died shortly after midnight at UCLA Medical Center.The following statement was posted on Breitbart's website today: "With a terrible feeling of pain and loss we announce the passing of Andrew Breitbart. We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.​

Probably either congestive heart failure, an aneurysm, a blood clot, or perhaps this wasn't so natural. I'm sure TMZ is on the case.

My thoughts go out to his wife and kids. He held is own on Bill Maher's show. Not afraid to sit among liberals and defend his position.

this is the same guy who went insane at a bunch of Occupy protesters at a Republican meeting a few weeks ago. Guy seemed a bit stressed out.

There's no question how this thread is going turn out and that's cool, Breitbart was controversial in life and he will be in death. I do wanna say, though, thanks to you guys (for real) for keeping it classy.

Damn 43 is so young and no matter what you thought of the guy politically his life was far too short. My thoughts go out to his family and loved ones.
