Lets say you get rid of Walker, then what? How will a democrat replacement handle your budget problems?
Well, let's not be too certain that Walker's a goner yet. There are some that still stand beside him. Not to mention that we reasonably expect Walker to get a LOT of corporate sugar daddy money from out of state because this, truth be known, is much bigger than Wisconsin. This will set the ball in motion as to how Americans, as a whole, take to the opposing ideas of government for the people or government for the rich and powerful.
Nobody wants to take money out of their pockets and send it elsewhere. Right, left, we all feel that way. But as the old saying goes, "Only two things are sure in life. Death and taxes."
But if it is a forgone conclusion that we all must pay taxes. The problem, it seems to me, lies within that some folks prefer said taxes to go to roads, education, healthcare, defense, and other means of supporting the people who are paying those taxes.
Then there are Americans, equally as valuable, who prefer to take that tax money and give it back to big corporations and big CEO bonuses, send it overseas to buy corporate and political influence, squander the assets of our defenses, (thus requiring more defense spending in building the defenses back up,) by conducting unnecessary military operations around the world. They seem to prefer to continue the "rinse and repeat" perpetuation of the war machine, for the good of the economy, rather than invest in alternate energy solutions. These sort of Americans also tend to have a higher proportion of citizens who think it is their right to mandate their version of values upon the masses as a whole and expect the government to back their opinions of how you and I should all live.
There is the problem as it appears to me. That's what this vote means to Wisconsites.
I identify with the first bunch of people I mentioned. That's why you will see me casting my vote for whoever is running against Scott Walker.
