Thumb print scanning system are the only viable solution. You dont need to carry anything on you and you dont need to purchase anything before hand.
If you lose your I.D. you are gave a provisional ballot that is then verified and counted at the end of the day.

I'm betting you would see far more complaints over thumb scanning than any requirement that you have to bring your free voter registration card.

And no, a free state issued ID does not mean you can obtain it for free, documentation must be presented before hand which can run hundreds of dollars, trust me, i've been there before. I still am not convinced voter fraud exists to the extent which is claimed, this is all politically motivated and everyone knows this.
Sorry, I can't trust the above statement.

not necessarily, state by state varies. In nebraska (where I live), you dont need a photo ID to register.

"if registering for the first time in Nebraska by mail, please provide a copy of a current and valid photo ID, or a copy of a utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or other government document which is dated within 60 days immediately prior to the date of presentation showing the same name and residence address provided on the voter registration application to avoid delays with your registration."

Ummm, how many dead people can possibly vote? It would take a live person to do the actual voting. Are you suggesting there's a coordinated effort to fraudulently vote? Why wouldn't Republicans use the same tactics? Too honest? LOL... How about some facts.

If felons are voting, they must be allowed to, which isn't uncommon.

    • If you were convicted of a felony in a Washington State court, your right to vote is restored unless you are currently in prison or in community custody with DOC. If you have questions about whether you are in community custody, call DOC at (800) 430-9674.
    • If you were convicted of a felony in another state or in federal court, your right to vote is restored as long as you are not currently incarcerated.

Not here in Washington, can you give me and example where its like that or do you pull the idea out your ass?

Felons are not allowed to vote and when you have a close election dead people can make a difference. Why are you so against a voters ID card?

Show me proof voter fraud exists to an extent that demands strict voting ID laws. Not conservative blog news, real satistics and studies. No long term studies have been conducted. This whole Voter Fraud conspiracy has been pulled directly from the GOP crack of shame.
