    That's an odd remark..

I am frankly against imposing US values and culture on others against their will.

Women's rights in Saudi Arabia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

women, regardless of age, are required to have a male guardian. Women cannot vote or be elected to high political positions.[1] However, King Abdullah has declared that women will be able to vote and run in the 2015 local elections, and be appointed to the Consultative Assembly.[2] Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that prohibits women from driving. The World Economic Forum 2009 Global Gender Gap Report ranked Saudi Arabia 130th out of 134 countries for gender parity. It was the only country to score a zero in the category of political empowerment

They should not be banned from the olympics because their ways do not coincide with ours. The olympics are for sports, not politics.

If they aren't ready for Saudi women in the Olympics.. that's their choice.
Erm, what European sense? Euro monarchs (where they exist) currently have very little power. Euro monarchs of the dark ages would have needed the consensus you outlined here.
